Registration with the Thai Customs Department for importers and exporters
As the Customs Department has updated and modified the process of providing customs clearance services related to imports and exports by introducing information technology systems. To adapt to the customs process to be more flexible, convenient, and quick to provide various services related to the import and export process in Thailand including the integration of links information with various agencies and related entrepreneurs who wish to perform customs clearance or carry out electronic customs procedures are required to register as customs operators to import data into the computer system of the Customs Department.
By this operator means to the importer/exporter, the person in charge of packaging, Vehicle Reporter, Customs Bank.
This registration can be done in 3 ways as follows:
Register via the online visitor registration system on the website of the Customs Department.
Register via the online visitor registration system via the Customs Trader Portal.
Register at the registration service unit of the Customs Department.
The criteria determined by the Customs Department are as follows:
Announcement of the Customs Department No. 94/2564 on the registration of customs clearance operators or proceeding in customs procedures.
Announcement of the Customs Department No. 94/2565 on Customs Clearance Operator Registration or Customs Processing (No. 2)
