“K” Line Launches Two New Warehouses in Bangna, Bangkok

Recently, “K” Line, a prominent ocean carrier and logistics provider, hosted the opening ceremony for its two latest warehouses on Bangna-Trad Road, Km. 18, namely the ‘KCST5’ general warehouse and the ‘BCS3’ cold storage warehouse.

Mr. Keiji Kubo, Managing Executive Officer of “K” Line (Head Office), and Mr. Kiyoshi Tokonami, Chairman of “K” Line (Thailand), presided over the ceremony in the presence of esteemed guests from “K” Line’s business partners and allies who graced the occasion.

KCST5, managed by “K” Line’s subsidiary K Line Container Service (KCST), boasts a spacious area of 10,638 square meters and is fitted with 15-meter racks, offering storage capacity for over 7,600 pallets. In addition to storage solutions, this warehouse facilitates distribution, packing, and various related services.

On the other hand, BCS3, under the management of Bangkok Cold Storage Services (BCS), spans a total area of 4,951 square meters. This includes a dedicated space of 1,952 square meters for frozen cargo and an additional area of 2,999 square meters designed to accommodate chilled and fixed-temperature cargo.

The two new warehouses will significantly enhance and reinforce the services of “K” Line and its subsidiaries. This expansion will be particularly beneficial for customers in the suburbs of Bangkok and around Suvarnabhumi Airport, where many Japanese factories and companies are located.
