“K” Line Thailand joins hands to plant trees for CSR activity

On September 16, 2023, more than 400 employees from K Line (Thailand) and its affiliates participated in a tree planting activity “K Line Plant Forest, Nurture Love for Environment” at Siri Charoenwat Forest Project in Sattahip District, Chonburi Province.

They planted a variety of trees, including teak, giant acacia, acacia, tamarind, and bastard poon tree, in an area of over 3 rai, with a total of 990 trees planted.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Tokonami, President and MD, said,

“K Line has been providing transportation services in Thailand for nearly 60 years. We not only work but also have activities to give back to society and the environment. The activity that we are doing together today, even though it is a small thing, is a way to give back to the environment that we have borrowed resources from to work.”

This tree-planting activity is not only a way to restore environmental richness, but also to promote environmental awareness among employees.
