K Line (Thailand) held CSR activity “GreenHeart for Blue Life” in Bang Pakong, Cha Choeng Sao

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, K Line (Thailand) Ltd. organized the “CSR 2025 GreenHeart for Blue Life” environmental and social activity at the Bang Pakong Community Learning Center in Chachoengsao Province. Over 45 enthusiastic volunteer employees actively participated to contribute to the creation of sustainable coastlines and the preservation of aquatic environments.

The event comprised three key components:

  • Environmental Awareness and Education: The company had the honor of welcoming Director Woranut Mitpakdee, Director of the Promotion and Coordination Division of Marine and Coastal Resources Network, and her affiliated officers, along with Ms. Malisuwan Pisuttithanyarak, Chairwoman of the Ban Bon Bang Pakong Community Group. They provided valuable knowledge on the concept behind the activities and the importance of constructing fish and crab shelters. This session enabled participants to learn about the significance of marine environmental conservation and everyone’s role in addressing environmental issues, thereby enhancing their understanding of sustainable environmental management.
  • Riverside Garbage Cleanup Activity: Volunteer employees collectively cleaned up the banks of the Bang Pakong River, a major Eastern Thai waterway connected to the Gulf of Thailand. On that day, a remarkable 45 kilograms of garbage were collected, demonstrating a strong commitment to reducing pollution in water sources. This effort aligns with K LINE’s vision to reduce its environmental impact on the marine environment.
  • Crab Release and Fish/Crab Shelter Construction: This activity aimed to increase marine animal populations. The construction of fish and crab shelters will provide crucial habitats and nursery grounds for juvenile marine life, helping to maintain a rich and abundant food chain. This is an integral part of supporting biodiversity.

The “GreenHeart for Blue Life” activity is not only about giving back to society and the environment but also emphasizes K Line (Thailand)’s commitment to supporting the “K” LINE Environmental Vision 2050. This is the group’s long-term goal for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and preserving the marine environment, which includes managing marine plastic waste and promoting biodiversity. Employee participation in such activities serves as a crucial foundation for driving these goals to success.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all volunteer employees for their dedication and effort, which made this event a beautiful success and a step forward in contributing to a sustainable society in line with K LINE’s global environmental goals.
