Wat Chak Daeng plays a significant role in recycling and waste management in the community. It recycles plastic waste into various products such as monk robes and other eco-friendly items. The temple also serves as a learning center and model for effective waste management, providing training and encouraging residents to participate in proper waste sorting and recycling.
